Molly Burt-Westvig (b. 1992, Redondo Beach, CA) holds a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Iowa (2014). Her paintings explore how tech and media continue to change our relationship to and perception of the natural world. She has been an artist in residence in the mountains of Iceland, on the banks of the Seine and in a boat on the Atlantic. Recently, she participated in Virginia Commonwealth Universities Summer Studio Program (2019).
